ELECTRICITY

Xcell Group SA, along with its parent company's operating company Xcell Guinée Energie SA, have developed a project plan for the Republic of Guinea that, in partnership with the Government, addresses the long term needs for the people and growing business sector in Guinea by designing a 840 Megawatt Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) power plant alongside the Port of Conakry, Guinea. Xcell Guinée Energie SA as a PPP company controls all aspects of this project as the developer, owner and operator of the power plant in partnership with the Government of Guinea via a Public Private Partnerships (PPP) along with a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the sale of electricity generated by the power plant in to the National Grid. Xcell Guinée Energie SA can use these diverse yet overlapping projects as sufficient collateral to our financing partner. It is expected that this project will greatly enhance the GDP of Guinea toward a continued upward trend.

Xcell Guinée Energie SA

Xcell Guinée Enegerie SA’s major objective with the construction of the 840 Megawatt Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) power plant will consist of providing reliable and a large electricity supply to the people and companies of Guinea within a 3 year time frame. This objective also includes creating the largest power plant in Guinea, which is strategically located offshore to allow quick and efficient regasification of the LNG. Because of being located near the national grid, the energy distribution will be instant and ready when the power plant is operational.

ALLOCATED LAND

As part of the PPP, in order to properly develop the power plant, the Government of Guinea has granted required land to Xcell Guinée Energie SA and the PPP program.  Most importantly for logistical purposes, the Government of Guinea has already provided a very large and strategically located a section of land in Conakry for the power plant.  The section of land granted is adjacent to the port, which allows for easy access for the offloading of LNG.
